Southern Sweetheart Clogging Team

My name is Adrienne Hartley. I began my clogging career in 1986 when I joined the Wayne County Cloggers. Two years later, I started my own team, and I have been teaching clogging ever since.

For several years, I made a career of teaching clogging. I have taught the following teams:
*Fancy Feet of Hattiesburg
*Southern Sweethearts of Waynesboro
*Southern Express of Laurel
*Dance Explosion of Myrick
*Kountry Kickers of McLain
*Southern Sweethearts of Sand Hill

The Sand Hill Junior Beta Club were the Group Talent winners at the National Beta Convention held at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville, Tennessee.  Clogging played a big part in their routine.

I am currently employed with the Greene County School District as a Special Education Teacher in grades 6-8.  I am the sponsor of the Beta Club and the Extreme Dance Team.

I am a graduate of The University of Southern Mississippi.  I have a Bachelor's Degree in Elementary Education and a Specialist Degree in Special Education.  I plan to pursue a Doctorate Degree in the near future.
